Jeremy Neumark Jones
British actor Jeremy Jones moved swiftly up the ranks of television performers in his native country, rising from bit and guest player to a lead in the period drama "The Last Post" (BBC One, 2017-). Born and raised in the Palmers Green suburb of Enfield, London, Jones attended the University of Oxford's Wadham College before delving into the London stage scene through appearances with the National Youth Theatre. Jones made his first screen appearance in the short film "Jezebel" (2012), playing a young man who believes that the imaginary woman he sketches has come to life. Guest roles on television series, including "Grantchester" (ITV, 2014-) and minor roles in features like "Denial" (2016) led to more substantive work, most notably as a newlywed whose murder set in motion complicated family dynamics in the BBC Scotland series "One of Us" (2016-). The following year, Jones earned his breakout project with "The Last Post," playing a young soldier serving with the Royal Military Police in 1960s-era Yemen.
