Jeremiah Brent

Interior and furniture designer Jeremiah Brent's talent for working wonders for celebrity clients led to a second career as a television personality on numerous do-it-yourself series, including his own, "Nate & Jeremiah By Design" (TLC, 2017-), which he co-hosted with his spouse, Nate Berkus. Born Jeremy Johnson in Modesto, California, he taught himself at an early age to design and build furniture. His talents were soon translated into a career in fashion and design, which culminated in his own interior and furniture design firm, Jeremiah Brent Design, in 2011. The full-service company quickly developed locations on both coasts, and delivered high quality design for commercial, hospitality and residential locations, especially for celebrity clients. That degree of fame led to appearances on numerous television shows before he signed on as a styling associate to fashion designer Rachel Zoe on her program, "The Rachel Zoe Project" (Bravo, 2008-) in 2011. After marrying his longtime companion, fellow interior designer Nate Berkus, in 2014, Brent earned his own series, the Emmy-winning "Home Made Simple" (OWN, 2015-16). The following year, the couple welcomed their first child, Poppy Brent-Berkus, and co-hosted their own series, "Nate & Jeremiah By Design." The program, which featured the couple assisting homeowners with difficult renovation projects, was renewed for its second season starting in 2018. Brent and Berkus were also announced as guest designers on an episode of TLC's revived "Trading Spaces (TLC/Discovery Channel, 2000-08, 2018-), also set for 2018.
