Jennifer Gareis
With her golden hair and stunning screen presence, Jennifer Gareis was one of the most memorable women in daytime television. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Gareis went on to attend Franklin and Marshall College, where she was an NCAA All-American swimmer. After graduating with her degree in accounting, Gareis became involved in the beauty pageant scene, placing second runner-up at Miss Pennsylvania USA in 1992, and winning the title of Miss New York USA in 1994. Having become accustomed to the rigors of the public eye, Gareis soon began pursuing an acting career. After some minor roles in "Private Parts" (1997) and "Enough Already" (1997), her big break came when she was cast in the role of Grace Turner on "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1963-). She would stick with the series until 2004, while also pursuing feature film roles, such as the memorable role of Tina in the Sandra Bullock action-comedy "Miss Congeniality" (2000). In 2006, Gareis joined the cast of another hallowed soap, "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS, 1987-), becoming a fan favorite.
