Jeffrey Lurie
American businessman and producer Jeffrey Lurie was born in Boston to a Jewish family. His career in the entertainment industry began after he left academia to join the film company General Cinema Corporation, founded by his grandfather, where he worked as an executive. Lurie went on to found his own production company in 1985, through which he produced the Oscar-winning documentaries "Inside Job" (2010) and "Inocente" (2012). He has since worked as an Executive Producer on many more projects, like the films "MLK/FBI" (2020) and "The League" (2023) and as Co-Producer to the series "Malibu Shores" (NBC, 1996).
