Jeff Alexander

Jeff Alexander's musical talents have contributed to a variety of Hollywood productions. Alexander began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Westward the Women" (1952), "Escape From Fort Bravo" (1953) with William Holden and "Prisoner of War" (1954). His music also appeared in the crime picture "Rogue Cop" (1954) with Robert Taylor. In the fifties and the sixties, Alexander's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Glenn Ford comedy "It Started With a Kiss" (1959), the comedy adaptation "The Mating Game" (1959) with Debbie Reynolds and the Robert Wagner dramatic adaptation "All the Fine Young Cannibals" (1960). Alexander's music was also featured in the adventure "Shipwreck" (1978) with Robert Logan, the Chet Baker documentary "Let's Get Lost" (1989) and "The Brown Bunny" (2004). Alexander was most recently credited in "Last Tango in Halifax" (PBS, 2013-15). In addition to his music, Alexander also appeared on-screen in the comedy "The Sex Lives of the Potato Men" (2004) with Johnny Vegas. Alexander passed away in December 1989 at the age of 79.
