Jean Boht

Jean Boht has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout her acting career. Boht worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "A Perfect Spy" (PBS, 1988-89), "Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, Series IV" (PBS, 1988) and "Arthur's Hallowed Ground" (1986). She also contributed to "Rapunzel Let Down Your Hair" (1978). Her film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like "Distant Voices, Still Lives" (1989) with Freda Dowie and the Meg Tilly romance "The Girl in a Swing" (1989). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Cloning of Joanna May" (1991-92). More recently, she continued to act in the Thomas Arklie fantastical comedy "Heaven's a Drag" (1995), the Steffanie Pitt horror flick "The Asylum" (2000) and "Mothers and Daughters" (2004). Most recently, Boht produced the comedy "The Understudy" (2012) with Marin Ireland. Jean Boht died on September 12, 2023 at the age of 91.
