Javiera Contador

Javiera Contador (born in Santiago) is a Chilean actress, comedian and television hostess. She played Quena Gómez de Larraín on the television show Casado con Hijos. She studied theatre at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her first major role was in the telenovela "Loca Piel". She was the hostess of "Si se la Puede Gana", and along with Ricardo Astorga of "La Ruta del Nilo" (2005) and "La Ruta de Oceanía" (2006). Currently, Contador co-hosts Mucho Gusto with José Miguel Viñuela. Contador was an active member of the Communist Youth of Chile and the High School Students Federation (FESES) during the 1990s.
