Jane Hoffman

Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Jane Hoffman graced the silver screen many times. Hoffman started her entertainment career by acting in comedies like the George Segal film "Where's Poppa?" (1970), "They Might Be Giants" (1971) with George C Scott and Joanne Woodward and "Up the Sandbox" (1972). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Love of Life" (CBS, 1951-1980). She kept working in film throughout the seventies and the eighties, starring in the Chris Sarandon thriller "The Sentinel" (1977), the thriller "Tattoo" (1981) with Bruce Dern and the Keith Gordon comedy "Static" (1986). She also appeared in the fantastical comedy "Batteries Not Included" (1987) with Hume Cronyn. Nearing the end of her career, she tackled roles in the drama "Me & Veronica" (1993) with Elizabeth McGovern, the Kevin Kline comedy "In & Out" (1997) and "Deconstructing Harry" (1997). Hoffman last acted in the Jodie Markell dramedy "Easter" (2003). Hoffman passed away in July 2004 at the age of 93.
