James Purcell
James Purcell has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Purcell started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Where Are the Children?" (1986) with Jill Clayburgh, "Death Wish 4: The Crackdown" (1987) with Charles Bronson and "Bad Dreams" (1988) with Jennifer Rubin. He also appeared in the thriller "Playroom" (1990) with Lisa Aliff, the romance "White Light" (1991) with Martin Kove and the action flick "The Hitman" (1991) with Chuck Norris. He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the Viveca Lindfors comedic drama "North of Pittsburgh" (1993) and the Diana Peng dramatic adaptation "Chinese Chocolate" (1995). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Royce" (Showtime, 1993-94). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Long Way Home" (1997-98), "The Golden Spiders: A Nero Wolfe Mystery" (A&E Network, 1999-2000) and "Family Sins" (CBS, 2003-04). Purcell most recently appeared in "Totally Awesome" (VH1, 2006-07).
