James Griffith
James Griffith was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Griffith's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Blonde Ice" (1948), the western "The Cariboo Trail" (1950) with Randolph Scott and the romance "The Breaking Point" (1950) with John Garfield. He also appeared in the Dan Duryea biopic "Al Jennings of Oklahoma" (1951), "Red Skies of Montana" (1952) and "Kansas Pacific" (1953). He kept working in film throughout the fifties and the sixties, starring in "The Vampire" (1957), "The Guns of Fort Petticoat" (1957) with Audie Murphy and the Howard Keel dramatic adaptation "The Big Fisherman" (1959). He also appeared in "The Amazing Transparent Man" (1960). He also was featured in the TV movies "Babe" (1975-76), "Law of the Land" (NBC, 1975-76) and "Flood!" (NBC, 1976-77). Griffith also contributed music to "Epic Movie" (2007) with Kal Penn. Most recently, Griffith worked on "Backpackers" (CW, 2013-14).
