James Colby
James Colby's talent as an actor was best showcased by his dramatic film work. Colby's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Paper" (1994) with Michael Keaton, the Penelope Allen dramatic adaptation "Looking for Richard" (1996) and "The Peacemaker" (1997) with George Clooney. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) and "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the 2010s, starring in "The Opponent" (2000) and "The Company Men" (2010). Recently, he tackled roles in the Jason Statham action movie "Safe" (2012), the Oscar Isaac dramatic musical "Inside Llewyn Davis" (2013) and the Andrew Garfield smash hit action film "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" (2014). He also appeared in the Marion Cotillard period drama "The Immigrant" (2014). He held additional roles in television including a part on "The Blacklist" (NBC, 2013-). Most recently, Colby appeared in "Jessica Jones" (2015-).
