Jake Stormoen

Jake Stormoen was an American actor who made a name for himself on television by carving out a niche for himself in sci-fi and fantasy productions. Born in Minneapolis, MN, Stormoen made his film debut with an uncredited appearance in the hip-hop dancing drama "Step Up 2: The Streets" (2008), before making his TV debut on an episode of the sitcom "Lucky Days" (USA, 2012). In 2014, Stormoen got his big break when he was cast as Dagen in the made for TV fantasy adventure movie "Mythica: A Quest for Heroes" (USA, 2014). He would return to the role the next year in "Mythica: The Darkspore" (USA, 2015) and "Mythica: The Necromancer" (USA, 2015), and once again the year after that in "Mythica: The Iron Crown" (USA, 2016) and "Mythica: The Godslayer" (USA, 2016). Stormoen was next cast as a series regular on the post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama "Extinct" (BYUtv, 2017). Unfortunately, the show was cancelled after one season, but Stormoen quickly bounced back, landing the role of Garret on the fantasy series "The Outpost" (Syfy/The CW, 2018-).
