Jacques Brel

Jacques Brel worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Brel's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Mont-Dragon" (1970), "Franz" (1971) and "Les Assasins de L'Ordre" (1971). Brel also contributed music to "Le Diable et les Dix Commandements" (1962) and "Tintin et le Temple du soleil" (1970). He kept working in film throughout the seventies, starring in "L' Aventure c'est l'aventure" (1972), "Le Bar de la Fourche" (1972) and "Le Far-West" (1973). He also appeared in the adaptation "Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris" (1974) with Elly Stone. Brel also created music for the documentary "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars" (1973) with David Bowie. Brel's music was also featured in the Eusebio Poncela foreign "Law of Desire" (1987), the drama "Pumpkin" (2002) with Christina Ricci and "Flashbacks of a Fool" (2008) with Daniel Craig. Brel's music was most recently featured in the Naomi Watts biopic drama "Diana" (2013).
