Jack Smith

Jack Smith worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. In his early acting career, Smith appeared in such films as "Happy Days" (1930), the western "Heroes of the Alamo" (1937) with Bruce Warren and "Hittin' the Trail" (1937) with Tex Ritter. He also appeared in "Frontier Town" (1938), the George Houston western "Frontier Scout" (1938) and "The Phantom Creeps" (1939). In the eighties and the nineties, Smith devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Howling" (1981) starring Dee Wallace Stone, "Cannonball Run II" (1984) starring Burt Reynolds and "Problem Child" (1990) starring John Ritter. He also worked on "Normal Love" (1996). Smith was most recently credited in "Beowulf" (Esquire Network, 2015-). Smith continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Vietnam: Missing in Action" (TLC, 1998-99), "Vietnam: The Soldiers' Story" (TLC, 1998-99) and "ABC 2000" (ABC, 1999-2000). His credits also expanded to "Mark McGwire: Heavy Hitter/ Sammy Sosa: Out of the Park" (1999-2000). Smith passed away in July 2006 at the age of 93.
