J. Barney Sherry

J Barney Sherry was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Sherry appeared in such films as "Custer's Last Fight" (1913), "The Bargain" (1914) and "Between Men" (1916). He also appeared in the war "Civilization" (1916) with Herschel Mayall. He kept working in film throughout those years, starring in "The Lion Man" (1919), "Man - Woman - Marriage" (1921) and "Till We Meet Again" (1922). Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in "What Fools Men Are" (1922), the drama "The White Sister" (1923) with Lillian Gish and "Casey of the Coast Guard" (1926). Sherry more recently acted in "Broadway Scandals" (1929). Sherry passed away in February 1944 at the age of 70.
