Isla Fisher
Having been a teen sensation on nighttime soaps in her native Australia, actress Isla Fisher crossed over to U.S. shores determined to become a big screen comedienne and put herself right on track with her scene-stealing turn as a wanton bridesmaid in "Wedding Crashers" (2005). Fisher quickly established herself as a talented comedic actress worthy of note. From there, she starred alongside Jason Biggs in "Wedding Daze" (2006) and took a turn into darker corners with Scott Frank's gritty crime thriller "The Lookout" (2007). Fisher's charming turn opposite Ryan Reynolds in the surprise low-budget romantic comedy hit "Definitely, Maybe" (2008) led to her headlining role in the chick-lit based "Confessions of a Shopaholic" (2009), where her energy, sass and laser quick comic timing confirmed what everyone saw in "Wedding Crashers." Fisher's feisty performances heralded the arrival of a fresh new talent.
