French actress Isabelle Nanty is best known for her comedic roles in films such as "Tatie Danielle" and the Jean-Pierre Jeunet fantasy "Amélie." She got her start in the 1980s with her first significant role coming in the 1986 TV movie "Un moment d'inattention." She had a small dramatic part in Bertrand Tavernier's "Beatrice" in '87 and a breakout role in the 1990 film "Tatie Danielle." The part won her another César nomination, which she followed up two years later with her third for the musical comedy "Not on the Lips," featuring "Amélie" star Audrey Tautou. Nanty also appeared on the soundtrack, singing the film's title song.
