Isabela Merced
Isabela Moner was born in Cleveland, OH. She began acting in community theater when she was only six years old, and made her Broadway debut at age 10 in a 2012 production of "Evita." Shortly after, she made her move to the screen, nabbing roles in films like "The House that Jack Built" (2013) and television series like "100 Things to Do Before High School" (Nickelodeon 2014-16), "Growing Up Fisher" (NBC 2014), and the animated children's program "Dora and Friends: Into the City" (Nickelodeon 2014-17). In 2015, Moner released her debut album, Stopping Time. Next, she landed a role in the TV movie "Legends of the Hidden Temple" (Nickelodeon 2016), based on the like-named game show series that ran on the same network from 1993 to '95. Going forward, she found work in major motion pictures like "Transformers: The Last Knight" (2017), "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" (2018), and the comedy "Instant Family" (2018). After playing the character Kate in the aforementioned "Dora and Friends" series, Moner was cast as the title character in the live-action film adaptation of "Dora the Explorer" (2019).
