Ian Whitcomb
Ian Whitcomb brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "Constantinople" (ABC, 1976-77). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Whitcomb mainly held acting roles in films like the Jodie Foster hit sci-fi feature "Contact" (1997). Whitcomb also contributed music to "The Final Verdict" (TNT, 1991-92). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Whitcomb devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Weird Al Show" (CBS, 1997-98), "Stanley's Gig" (2000) and "Popular Song: Soundtrack of the Century" (2001-02). He also worked on "The Cat's Meow" with Kirsten Dunst (2002), "Open House" with Hedy Burress (2004) and "Surviving Eden" (2006) starring Peter Dinklage. Whitcomb's music was most recently featured in the Henry Czerny horror flick "Fido" (2007). Ian Whitcomb died on April 19, 2020.
