Hunter King

Actor Hunter King, also credited as Haley King, was born and raised in Southern California. Best known for her roles on "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1973-) and "Life in Pieces" (CBS, 2015-), King's desire to act was apparent at a very young age. She starred appearing in plays in her local theater in Agoura Hills, California, and before long, given her close proximity to Hollywood, was auditioning for film and TV roles. Her very first on-screen role came when she was 8-years-old when she nabbed a small part in Steven Spielberg's sci-fi drama "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" (2001). She followed that up over the next several years with guest spots on numerous TV shows like ""Roswell" (The WB, 1999-2002), "Line of Fire" (ABC, 2003-04), and "Without a Trace" (CBS, 2002-09). King's first big break came in 2006 when she nabbed a recurring role on the acclaimed Showtime "Dexter" (Showtime, 2006-2013). With her acting career on the rise, King continued getting mostly TV roles throughout the remainder of the 2000s and leading into the 2010s. In 2012, King landed her first series regular role on the short-lived teen drama "Hollywood Heights" (TeenNick, 2012). Next, she was offered an opportunity at the show "The Young and the Restless." King continued playing the role for the next four years, before leaving the show to appear in a new sitcom called "Life in Pieces" (CBS, 2015-19).
