Hudson Leick

Though she began her career by modeling in Japan, Hudson Leick returned to the United States with a desire to pursue acting. After landing several small TV roles, Leick caught a break when she appeared as seductive nurse, Tracy Stone, on the primetime medical drama, "University Place." Though the show was canceled after just one season, Leick caught the eye of "Melrose Place" producers who soon cast her as the scheming Shelly Hanson, who tries to avenge her late husband's death by seducing his brother (who killed him in self-defense) and stealing his money. The following year, Leick landed her most high-profile role yet, as the sadistic and revenge obsessed, Callisto, on the adventure fantasy TV series, "Xena: Warrior Princess." She portrayed Xena's (Lucy Lawless) evil arch nemesis for four years and later reprised her role on "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys," "Xena"'s parent show, starring Kevin Sorbo as the title hero. Leick left the series in 1997 to focus on a variety of different roles. She appeared in the pilot episode of "Tru Calling," a supernatural mystery show about a woman with the power to communicate with the dead, and was cast in guest roles on the legal drama, "Shark," and the award-winning series, "Nip/Tuck."
