Howard McGillin

Howard McGillin was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McGillin kickstarted his acting career appearing on various dramas, including "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1955-2010), "One Life to Live" (ABC, 1967-2010) and "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1972-2015). He also was featured in the miniseries "Arthur Hailey's "Wheels"" (1977-78). He also appeared in the TV movie "Mary White" (ABC, 1977-78). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Women in White" (1978-79). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Love's Savage Fury" (ABC, 1978-79). In the seventies and the nineties, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the remake "Where the Boys Are '84" (1984) with Lisa Hartman Black and the action film "Company Business" (1991) with Gene Hackman. McGillin continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Perry Mason: The Case of the Maligned Mobster" (NBC, 1990-91), "Mimi & Me" (CBS, 1991-92) and the Heidi Mollenhauer and Jane Withers smash hit "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (1996). His credits also expanded to "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut" (1999) starring Saddam Hussein. Most recently, McGillin acted on "Elementary" (CBS, 2012-). McGillin was married to Richard Samson.
