Hope Landin

Hope Landin was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Landin began her career with roles in the Benny Goodman musical "Sweet and Low Down" (1944), "The Dark Corner" (1946) and the thriller "The Mask of Diijon" (1946) with Erich von Stroheim. Landin then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the drama "I Remember Mama" (1948) with Irene Dunne, the drama "The Walls of Jericho" (1948) with Cornel Wilde and the drama "The Sun Comes Up" (1949) with Jeanette MacDonald. She also appeared in "Sugarfoot" (1951) and "She Couldn't Say No" (1954) with Robert Mitchum. Later in her career, Landin acted in the Broderick Crawford crime adaptation "New York Confidential" (1955). Landin passed away in February 1973 at the age of 80.
