Holly J. Barrett
Australian actress Holly J. Barrett found fame on the other side of the Atlantic in her early teens when she landed the role of Samantha in multi-point-of-view sitcom "Life In Pieces" (CBS, 2015-). Born in Perth, Barrett made her on-screen debut in short film "Eliza" (2011) playing the cough medicine-addicted titular character who plots to get rid of her convict mother. After adding "Before the Dawn" (2012), an interweaving short about seven high school students, to her filmography, Barrett relocated to London with her family in order to pursue her acting career. The move paid off in 2014 when she was cast as Kristin Davis' daughter, Ellen Gallagher, in the West End production of "Fatal Attraction" at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Barrett then appeared as Young Sara in abduction thriller "Twisted Minds" (2014) and Charlotte Upton in the adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's foster home-based novel "Hetty Feather" (2015), before achieving her international breakthrough when she bagged the part of Betsy Brandt's daughter Samantha in multi-generational sitcom "Life In Pieces" (CBS, 2015-).
