Hiroshi Abe

Hiroshi Abe was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hiroshi Abe began his acting career with roles in such films as the Masahiro Motoki fantasy "The Mystery of Rampo" (1995), the Munehisa Sakurada dramatic comedy "French Dressing" (1998) and the action flick "Tokyo Raiders" (2000) with Tony Leung. He also appeared in the action movie "Godzilla 2000" (2000) with Tsutomu Kitagawa, "Torikku Gekijoban" (2002) and "Hana & Alice" (2004) with Anne Suzuki. He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in "Baburo E Go!! Taimu Mashin Wa Doramu-Shiki" (2007), "Taitei No Ken" (2007) and the Takuya Kimura dramatic adaptation "Hero" (2007). Recently, he continued to act in "Still Walking" (2009), the foreign "A Ghost Of A Chance" (2011) with Eri Fukatsu and the Kôji Yakusho biopic "Admiral Yamamoto" (2011). He also appeared in "The Wings Of The Kirin" (2012) and "Thermae Romae" (2012). Hiroshi Abe most recently acted in "Zakurozaka no adauchi" (2014).
