Henry Hall

Henry Hall was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hall began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the Regis Toomey mystery "The Penal Code" (1932), the William Stage Boyd mystery "Midnight Warning" (1932) and "Rainbow Ranch" (1933) with Rex Bell. He also appeared in the George O'Brien western "The Dude Ranger" (1934), the drama "Our Daily Bread" (1934) with Karen Morley and the John Wayne western "The Desert Trail" (1935). He continued to act in productions like "Jailbreak" (1936), "Yodelin' Kid From Pine Ridge" (1937) with Gene Autry and "The Ape" (1940). He also appeared in the western "Pirates on Horseback" (1941) with Russell Hayden. In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the western "Dead or Alive" (1944) with Tex Ritter, the mystery "The Jade Mask" (1945) with Sidney Toler and the western "Marked For Murder" (1945) with Tex Ritter. He also appeared in the Buster Crabbe western "Lightning Raiders" (1946) and "Larceny in Her Heart" (1946). Hall's music was most recently featured in the Annette Bening dramatic adaptation "Being Julia" (2004). Hall passed away in December 1954 at the age of 78.
