Henry Cho

Stand-up comedian Henry Cho was born in Tennessee. After high school he moved to California to pursue his career. He landed the role of Sam on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1992). He later got a starring role in the film "Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation" (1992). Beginning in 1994, Cho was host of "Friday Night Videos" (NBC, 1982-2001) and did that for two years. In 2001 Cho earned the role of Freddy in "Say It Isn't So" and then as Ned Nakamori in "Material Girls" (2006). More recently, Cho was in the film "The Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santaland" (2020). Cho has indicated that it is important to him to take a family-friendly approach to comedy, keeping profanity and offensive language out of his routines.
