Helena Carroll

Helena Carroll was an actress with a strong presence in film throughout her Hollywood career. Carroll started her entertainment career by acting in comedies like "The Jerk" (1979) with Steve Martin and "Loving Couples" (1980) with Shirley MacLaine. She also appeared in the TV movie "Kiss Me... Kill Me" (ABC, 1975-76). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "The Edge of Night" (CBS, 1955-1985) and "General Hospital" (ABC, 1962-2014). Her film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like the horror film "Ghost Story" (1981) with Fred Astaire, the John Huston documentary "John Huston & The Dubliners" (1987) and "The Dead" (1987) with Anjelica Huston. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Law and Harry McGraw" (CBS, 1987-88). She also was featured in the TV movies "A Family For Joe" (NBC, 1989-1990) and "The Man Upstairs" (CBS, 1992-93). Carroll most recently appeared in "Murder She Wrote: The Celtic Riddle" (CBS, 2002-03).
