Helen Funai

Helen Funai was a talented actress who starred in a number of television shows. Funai's career began with roles in "The Red Skelton Show" (1951-1971), "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-) and "The Dean Martin Show" (NBC, 1965-1974). Funai launched her entertainment career by acting in films like the comedic adaptation "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (1966) with Zero Mostel. She continued to work steadily in television throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing on "Somerset" (NBC, 1969-1977) and "M*A*S*H" (CBS, 1972-1983). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Gidget Grows Up" (ABC, 1969-1970). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Behind the Screen" (CBS, 1981-82). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "James Clavell's Noble House" (1987-88). Funai more recently acted in the Eric Roberts adventure "Best of the Best" (1989).
