Helen Fraser

Helen Fraser was an actress with a strong presence in film throughout her Hollywood career. Fraser's earliest roles were in film, including "Billy Liar" (1963), "Repulsion" (1965) and the dramatic adaptation "The Birthday Party" (1968) with Robert Shaw. She also appeared in the comedy "Start the Revolution Without Me" (1970) with Gene Wilder and the drama "Something to Hide" (1971) with Peter Finch. She also appeared in the TV special "The Rector's Wife" (PBS, 1994-95). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "An Act of Love: The Patricia Neal Story" (CBS, 1981-82). She also landed a role in the miniseries "Beryl Markham: A Shadow on the Sun" (1987-88). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the Sigourney Weaver adventurous drama "Gorillas in the Mist" (1988). Fraser had a number of different projects under her belt in the nineties through the 2010s, including "Bad Girls (BBCA)" "Ideal" (IFC, 2004-08) and "The Wicker Tree" (2012). Her credits also expanded to "A Royal Night Out" (2015) starring Sarah Gadon. Fraser most recently voiced characters in the Sandra Bullock blockbuster animated motion picture "Minions" (2015).
