Harmony Korine

Harmony Korine found a passion for writing while at Tisch School of the Arts, but dropped out to pursue another passion, skateboarding. While skating, he met Larry Clark who asked him to write a script combining skateboarding and AIDS. Korine agreed and the film, "Kids" was released in 1995 to mixed reviews, but gave Korine's writing talent exposure. Some of his other works include "Gummo" (1997) and "Julien Donkey-Boy" (1999) which he also directed. More recently, he wrote and directed "The Fourth Dimension" (2012), " The Beach Bum" (2019) and has several projects in the works.
