Haley Tju
Born in Southern California, Hayley Tju followed her older sister, Brianne, into acting. The younger Tju began working when she landed a job in a commercial for Pizza Hut. In 2008, she made her first appearance on a TV show when she played a minor role in an episode of "Hannah Montana" (Disney Channel, 2006-2011). Once the door had opened, it couldn't be shut again: Tju made guest appearances on a number of shows, including "Mike & Molly" (CBS, 2010-), "The New Normal" (NBC, 2012-13), and a recurring part on the Matthew Perry vehicle "Go On" (NBC, 2012-13). In 2013, Tju played her first voice-acting role as Sqweep on the Dreamworks Animation series "Monsters vs Aliens" (Nickelodeon, 2013-2014), based on the 2009 movie of the same name. Next was a guest role on "The Thundermans" (Nickelodeon, 2013-), a show about a family with superpowers. Her first starring role was in the Nickelodeon one-off "The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery" (Nickelodeon, 2015) as one of three middle school detectives. From there, she landed her first series regular role in "Bella and the Bulldogs" (Nickelodeon, 2015-). On the show, she played a cheerleader, and best friend with Bella, a former cheerleader who has become quarterback of the high school football team.
