Gypsy Rose Blanchard
Gypsy-Rose Alcida Blanchard-Anderson is an American convicted murderer. She rose to worldwide prominence when she was convicted of second-degree murder in Springfield, Missouri, for the death of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard, who had subjected Gypsy-Rose to lifelong physical, mental, and medical abuse. She was sentenced to ten years in prison. She was paroled after eight years, at the end of December 2023.
