Grant Swanby
Grant Swanby was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Swanby began his acting career by debuting in films like "Charlie" (2004), "Proteus" (2004) with Rouxnet Brown and Neil Sandilands and "In My Country" (2005) starring Samuel L. Jackson. He also appeared in the TV movie "Sweepers" (USA, 1999-2000). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s, appearing in the Leonardo DiCaprio crime drama "Blood Diamond" (2006) and the Tim Robbins drama "Catch a Fire" (2006). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Supernova" (Hallmark Channel, 2005). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Crusoe" (NBC, 2008-09). Recently, he tackled roles in "The Fall" (2008), "Invictus" (2009) with Morgan Freeman and the foreign "Black Butterflies" (2012) with Carice Van Houten. He also appeared in the Idris Elba dramatic adaptation "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" (2013). Most recently, Swanby acted in the western "The Salvation" (2015) with Mads Mikkelsen.
