Grace Victoria Cox
Grace Victoria Cox was an American actress who was best known for her roles on the TV shows "Under the Dome" (CBS, 2013-15) and "Heathers" (Paramount Network, 2018-). Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Cox knew at the age of 13 that she wanted to become an actress. She started acting in plays put on by her high school, and quickly developed an ease for performing in front of an audience. For Cox, however, her true goal was to become a screen actress. Thus, ever the ambitious young woman, in 2012 she and her family moved to sunny Los Angeles, where she simultaneously began attending high school while pursuing an acting career. Luckily for her, Cox's rise to stardom was relatively fast. After nabbing a couple parts in short films, she landed a major part as Melanie Cross on the CBS science-fiction mystery series "Under the Dome." Cox played Melanie Cross on 16 episodes of the series, which ended in 2015. After the series ended, an undeterred Cox continued nabbing TV and film roles. In addition to landing a part on the Lifetime movie "Manson's Lost Girls" (2016), she also appeared in an episode of David Lynch's "Twin Peaks" (Showtime, 2017). With her still young acting career on the upswing, 2018 proved to be a breakout year for Cox. In addition to appearing in the films "Savage Youth" (2018) and "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" (2018), she also joined the cast of the TV remake of "Heathers." That series, which premiered on the Paramount Network in early 2018, was a television remake of the high school-themed black comedy from 1989 starring Christian Slater and Wynona Ryder.
