No matter what role, Godfrey never failed to cause uncontrollable laughter throughout his film career. In 1995, he made his professional debut at the New York comedy club Carolines on Broadway. Known for making audiences laugh, Godfrey began his acting career in comedies like "Zoolander" (2001) with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and "Comedian" (2002) with Jerry Seinfeld and Colin Quinn. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s, appearing in "Johnson Family Vacation" (2004) with Cedric The Entertainer, the comedy "Soul Plane" (2004) with Tom Arnold and the comedy "The Cookout" (2004) with Quran Pender. He also appeared in "Phat Girlz" (2006) with Mo'Nique. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter" (2015-17). Godfrey most recently worked on "World's Funniest Fails" (Fox, 2015).
