Glen Davies

Glen Davies was an actor best known for his portrayal of characters throughout various television series. Davies worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Birds of a Feather" "Jim Henson's Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story" (2001-02) and "The 2001 Summer Goodwill Games" (TNT, 2000-01). He also contributed to "Twilight of the Gods" (PBS, 1995-96). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Murder in Suburbia" (ITV 1, 2003-05) and "Wallander" (PBS, 2008-2013). He also landed a role in the miniseries "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Series 6" (2007-08). Later, he earned a role in the thriller "Swimming Pool" (2003) with Charlotte Rampling. More recently, he tackled roles on "Sherlock" (2010-), "Twenty Twelve" (BBC, 2011-12) and "Call the Midwife" (PBS, 2012-). Most recently, Davies acted in the dramatic adaptation "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" (2012) with Judi Dench.
