Gia Scala

Gia Scala was an actress who graced the silver screen many times throughout her Hollywood career. In 1951, she moved to the US. Scala's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Rock Hudson dramatic adaptation "Never Say Goodbye" (1956), "Don't Go Near the Water" (1957) and "The Garment Jungle" (1957) with Lee J. Cobb. Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Ride a Crooked Trail" (1958), the Doris Day comedic adaptation "The Tunnel of Love" (1958) and "The Two-Headed Spy" (1958). She also appeared in "Battle of the Coral Sea" (1959). During the latter part of her career, she continued to act in the action film "The Angry Hills" (1959) with Robert Mitchum, "I Aim at the Stars" (1960) and the dramatic adaptation "The Guns of Navarone" (1961) with Gregory Peck. Scala more recently acted on "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" (ABC, 1964-68).
