Gerard Malanga

Gerard Malanga found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Malanga's earliest roles were in film, including "Christmas on Earth" (1963), the Naomi Levine experimental "Kiss" (1963) and "Couch" (1964). He also appeared in "Harlot" (1964) and "Vinyl" (1965). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Velvet Underground and Nico" (1966) and the Viva documentary "Superstar: The Life and Times of Andy Warhol" (1991). More recently, he continued to act in the Charles Henri Ford documentary "Sleep in a Nest of Flames" (2001), the documentary "A Walk into the Sea" (2007) with Brigid Berlin and "Notes on Marie Menken" (2007). Malanga most recently appeared on "Beautiful Darling" (2011) with Julie Newmar.
