George King
George King was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Christmas in My Hometown" (CBS, 1996-97). He also took on a few movie roles at the time, appearing in the action picture "Crack House" (1989) with Jim Brown and "Hurt Penguins" (1992) with Michele Muzzi. He also starred in the TV movies "Blackjack" (1998), "If You Believe" (Lifetime, 1999-2000) and "One True Love" (CBS, 2000-01). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the Eddie Murphy smash hit comedy sequel "Nutty Professor II: The Klumps" (2000). King focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Viggo Mortensen crime drama "A History of Violence" (2005), "Man of the Year" (2006) with Robin Williams and the John Travolta blockbuster musical adaptation "Hairspray" (2007). He also appeared in "Jumper" (2008). King most recently acted on "Rookie Blue" (ABC, 2009-2015).
