Geoffrey Whitehead

Geoffrey Whitehead was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "S.O.S. Titanic" (ABC, 1979-1980). He also was featured in the miniseries "Inside the Third Reich" (1981-82), "Peter the Great" (1985-86) and "War and Remembrance" (1988-89). He also appeared in various films, such as the Malcolm McDowell romance "The Raging Moon" (1970) and the adventure "Kidnapped" (1971) with Michael Caine. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "A Casualty of War" (USA, 1989-1990). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Tom Conti drama "That Summer of White Roses" (1990) and "Shooting Fish" (1998). Recently, he tackled roles on "Little Britain" (2003-06), "The Robinsons" (2004-05) and "Not Going Out" (BBC 1, 2006-2015). He also was featured in the TV movie "Catherine the Great" (2000-01). Whitehead most recently appeared in "Little Dorrit" (2008-09).
