Geoff Kempin

Producer Geoff Kempin began his career in 1976 with an executive producing credit for "Ginger Baker in Africa," a special for the educational series "Omnibus." Then, that same year, Kempin started off his long record of producing concert specials with "Neil Diamond: The 'Thank You Australia' Concert." There was a break in his television work for most of the 1980s, but Kempin returned in 1991 with the video documentary "Alice Cooper: Prime Cuts," followed in 1992 by "Black Sabbath: The Black Sabbath Story, Volume 1." In 1996, Kempin did executive producing duties for a true music legend with "Tina Turner: Live in Amsterdam," and he executive produced a special for Stevie Wonder in 1997, and a video documentary for Meat Loaf in 1999. In 2001, Kempin executive produced "The Genesis Songbook," which brought together the best songs of the Phil Collins-fronted 1980s group, and that same year, he produced a video documentary for Elton John.
