Gentry White
Gentry White was an American actor who was best known for his recurring role as Romeo on the Lifetime series "Unreal" (Lifetime, 2015-). Born and raised in North Carolina, White was a self-described "born performer." He began appearing in plays when he was in elementary school, and by his teens was landing lead roles in local plays produced in his home state. As a lover of film and TV, however, the allure of Hollywood proved too enticing, and with that, White packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles. He started auditioning immediately upon arrival, and started small by nabbing parts in short films like "Down by the Promised Land" (2012) and "Divergence" (2012). He followed those roles up with a recurring role on the web series "Classic Alice" (web series, 2014), as well as small part in the blockbuster action sequel "Furious 7" (2015). Then in 2015 White nabbed his first big break when he was cast in the AMC series "Turn: Washington's Spies" (AMC, 2014-17). White appeared in 10 episodes of the show in 2016. After leaving "Turn: Washington's Spies" in 2016, White turned his focus into film acting. In 2016 and 2017 he nabbed multiple parts in films like "XOXO" (2016), "Alex & Jaime" (2017), and "Palm Swings" (2017). 2017 was also the year he landed a guest spot on the second season of the sci-fi series "The Shannara Chronicles" (MTV/Spike, 2016-). That series premiered its second season the Spike network in the fall of 2017.
