Gary Whelan
Gary Whelan was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Whelan appeared in such films as "Babylon" (1980), "Ascendancy" (1982) and the action movie "Trail of the Pink Panther" (1982) with Peter Sellers. He also appeared in the David Caren action picture "Curse of the Pink Panther" (1983), the Kevin Kline biographical drama "Cry Freedom" (1987) and "Zoeken naar Eileen" (1987) with Thom Hoffman. He continued to act in productions like the dramatic comedy "Paper Marriage" (1992) with Gary Kemp, the Liam Neeson historical romance "Michael Collins" (1996) and the Robin Wright dramatic adaptation "Moll Flanders" (1996). He also appeared in the TV special "Prime Suspect" (PBS, 1991-92). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Game, Set & Match" (PBS, 1988-89). More recently, he continued to act in "Beyond the Sea" (2004), "Villa Des Roses" (2005) and the Morgan Freeman drama "The Contract" (2007). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "S Club 7: Miami Madness" (Fox Family Channel, 1999-2000). Whelan also contributed music to "Welcome to Sarajevo" (1997). Whelan most recently acted in the action flick "Dracula Untold" (2014) with Luke Evans.
