Gary Sweet
Gary Sweet, an Australian-born actor, found success in the Hollywood movie scene, starring in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Sweet kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "An Indecent Obsession" (1985), "Fever" (1987) and the Arthur Dignam thriller "The Dreaming" (1988). He also appeared in "The Lighthorsemen" (1988) with Jon Blake, "What the Moon Saw" (1990) with Andrew Shephard and "Police Rescue" (1993). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the Jacqueline Bisset thriller "Crime Broker" (1994), "Tempe Tip" (2002) and the dramatic comedy "Gettin' Square" (2003) with David Wenham. He also appeared in "The Tracker" (2004) and "Alexandra's Project" (2005). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Love in Ambush" (USA, 2001-02). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "Macbeth" (2007) with Victoria Hill, the Noni Hazlehurst drama "Bitter & Twisted" (2008) and "Subdivision" (2009). He also appeared in the Ben Barnes blockbuster family sequel "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" (2010). He also was featured in the TV movie "Fatal Honeymoon" (Lifetime, 2011-12). Most recently, Sweet acted in the dramatic adaptation "Adore" (2013) with Naomi Watts.
