Garrett Ryan

Garrett Ryan is a youthful actor who began his screen career while still in elementary school. A California native, Ryan had his first television appearance on an episode of the procedural drama "Cold Case," playing a character as a child in a 1940s flashback. After guest spots on similarly inclined crime shows such as "CSI: NY" and "Criminal Minds," the charming youngster took on small parts in the dramatic TV movie "Sweet Nothing in My Ear" and the low-budget horror film "Dark House," featuring B-movie star Jeffrey Combs. Continuing to find occasional supporting roles on television, Ryan made his major feature debut with a small part in the big-screen drama "Trust," starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener, and also turned up as one of the kids populating the halls and rooms of "Children's Hospital," a biting and irreverent comedy series. As the tween actor matured, he won a recurring role on the long-running soap opera "The Young and the Restless," appearing in dozens of episodes of the ever-emotional drama, and he also had a featured part in the 2011 family film "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer," playing a close friend of the excitement-seeking title character portrayed by Jordana Beatty.
