Gale Garnett

Actress-musician Gale Garnett made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. Garnett worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including"Boulevard Nights" (1979), "Happy Mother's Day... Love, George" with Patricia Neal (1973) and "Look What They've Done to My Song" (1979-1980). She also contributed to "Mad Monster Party" (1967) and "Penelope" with Natalie Wood (1966). She continued to act in productions like "The Children" (1980), "Tribute" (1980) with Jack Lemmon and "Overnight" (1986). She also starred in the TV movies "The Park Is Mine" (HBO, 1985-86) and "Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean" (CBS, 1990-91). More recently, she continued to act in "Mr. & Mrs. Bridge" (1990) and the documentary "Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould" (1994) with Colm Feore. Garnett's music was most recently used in the comedy adaptation "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" (2014) with Steve Carell. She also was featured in the TV movie "A Silent Betrayal" (CBS, 1994-95). Garnett also contributed music to "Something to Believe In" (1997).
