Frederica Von Stade was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also appeared in "Christmas in Washington" (NBC, 1984-85). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Aspern Papers" (1988-89), "The Show Boat Story" (PBS, 1989-1990) and "Flicka and Friends: From Rossini to "Show Boat"" (PBS, 1989-1990). She also appeared in "The Concert For Peace From Oslo" (PBS, 1990-91). Stade's music was most recently featured in "The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards" (CBS, 2005-06).
