Franz Drameh

Franz Drameh is a British actor who became a recognizable face to American TV audiences in early 2016 after nabbing the role of Firestorm on the DC Comics series "Legends of Tomorrow" (The CW, 2016-). Born and raised in London, England, Drameh always had a desire to become an actor. He started auditioning for film and TV roles throughout London in his early teens, and struck luck at the age of 15 when he landed a recurring part on the comedy "Parents of the Band" (BBC One, 2008-09). Despite the show being cancelled after its first season, Drameh's acting career continued to rise. In 2010 he got the opportunity to work with the legendary director Clint Eastwood with a supporting role in his fantasy drama "Hereafter" (2010), and followed that up a year later with a co-starring role in the British sci-fi action comedy "Attack the Block" (2011). Then in 2014 Drameh once again nabbed a part in a big budgeted Hollywood action film "Edge of Tomorrow." The film starred Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, and went on to become one of the highest grossing films of 2014, which grew Drameh's acting profile even more. Drameh appeared in two more films in 2015, "Residue" and "Legacy," before nabbing a small guest spot as the superhero Firestorm on the DC Comics series "The Flash" (The CW, 2014-). Luckily for Drameh, when "The Flash" was spun off into a new superhero series called "Legends of Tomorrow," he was able to retain his role as Firestorm on the new show when it premiered on The CW in January 2016.
