Frank Marth

Frank Marth was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Marth's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "Love With the Proper Stranger" (1963) with Natalie Wood, "Madigan" (1968) and the dramatic adaptation "The Lost Man" (1969) with Sidney Poitier. He also appeared in the Gregory Peck adaptation "Marooned" (1969). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "The Jackie Gleason Show" (CBS, 1952-1961) and "Gunsmoke" (CBS, 1955-1975). He also starred in the TV movies "The Delphi Bureau" (1971-72), "Crime Club" (CBS, 1972-73) and "Beg, Borrow... or Steal" (ABC, 1972-73). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "M*A*S*H" (CBS, 1972-1983). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Washington: Behind Closed Doors" (1977-78). Marth last acted in "Showdown" (1993). Marth passed away in January 2014 at the age of 92.
